And no I dont care if they somehow hold on to this lead. The fact of the matter is something has eaten this team alive

When does the fact that Cam is playing hurt, the short stop is out for the year, the left fielder is out for a month, the starting pitcher is hurt again, and the Sunday pitcher is now hurt too….come into play?

1. You got your Friday guy back
2. Cam doesnt seem to want to play hard and has hot dogged a lot this year
3. The lineup could not barrel up a slow pitch softball right now
But yes we did lose our shortstop. I cannot believe we do not have another one on the roster.

They have lost their swagger and they are heavily overrated right now! It’s embarrassing! Called pitching out earlier as it has been fracturing the last few weeks just to have someone say “we have the best ERA in ACC.” This is not the same team right now! Fans who have watched every game this season know this.

Wow alot of crow being eaten here lol.
We have several key injuries that should improve as we move on except SS....Hinde doing a decent job holding down the fort there, but we gotta not have pitchers come in and throw 5 or 6 past balls with men on base. That is a killer!!! I hung in there and didn't give up on our team even though it looked very bleek. Let's win tomorrow!!!

Look is Clemson a legit top 8 national seed? Not right now. Is the depth of the roster being tested. Yep. There are some positives. Crighton had so me good ABs last night, and played decent at 1st. Cam produced late even after crashing into the wall. Obertop is in a funk at the plate, but gunned down a couple runners like haven’t seen much this year. Hinderleider has played sone shortstop and seems to be getting more comfortable playing that side of second. Mathes has provided some excellent play in right field.
Four things are needed right now
1) Stay healthy, depth can’t get stretched much more
2) Get Tristan Smith back in control of his command
3) Bakich has got to get the lineup to approach every AB the way they did in the late innings last night. Too many big swing strikeouts when a productive AB is needed.
4) Solidify the weekend bullpen. Olenchuk, Dvorsky, and Hughes have had their chances. They are now relegated to mid-week or blow out games until they show something better.
