First off, our coaches did a horrible job of preparing for what FSU brought to the field tonight. I've tried to believe that our Defensive backs were so bad under Steele, that they never had a chance to improve under BV---but they are all gone and are even worse. JW throws almost every pass 20 yards or less to wide open guys who then tack on an extra 10-20 YAC.
The offensive line which played so well against Georgia, looked like the Powder Puff girls out there tonight. Morris may be all about the "Flash & Dash", but he is so predictable and does absolutely nothing as far as setting up the defense. I don't care if you run 90 plays, but more than 10 of them need to work.
IDK about all the leadership & toughness value Boyd brings, he has either 'happy feet' or just panics too quick--he locks on #1 option & then takes off running. His throwing motion is worse than Tim Tebow as he now thinks throwing sidearm is a good idea. As far as footwork goes, he is almost always on his back foot & the ball sails on him...it was shocking to see him throw all those grounders tonight at the receivers feet.
Rant done---hopefully all the other upsets today will just shuffle the deck and we'll stay in the Top 10, but face it boys & girls: CLEMSON GOT TAKEN TO THE WOODSHED TONIGHT & WAS PUNISHED IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE GAME.

I have ever seen on tnet. If you think Tajh throws worse than Tim Tebow, then you don't know a thing about football. Tajh is one of the best QB's we have ever had. If you can't realized that, you really have a lot to learn. Agree with you about Morris and the oline. But you can't blame the DB's, it's a little hard to cover receivers for 10 - 15 seconds. Did you realize all the holding fsu got away with. This defense has come a long way under BV.

A HUGE amount of Boyd's passing stats are directly related to the amazing athletic receivers that he has had the luxury to throw too...they've bailed him out tons on his erratic throws.

I saw the collapse of 2011, but against a legit team. We have no power run game and honestly, I was wishing that Cole Stoudt took over after the half. He has better chemistry with his receivers and makes Morris' offense look unbeatable. When Tahj was running it tonight it looked like we didn't have an offensive coordinator. Morris' is a smart guy but he had NOTHING to get us a quick score and back in the game. I am completely disappointed in the offense as a whole and slightly disappointed in our defense. As far as Dabo is concerned... He needs to cut the interviews and autograph signing and have these men focus on playing better football, not being starts.

While not as fast as Boyd, the distance from the line & pocket skills could have made the rush less effective.
