Did Harry Reid really slip this into Obamacare?

the data collection capabilities of 'lawful' ownership. If said ownership were to be come 'unlawful' then the provision would be moot.

Still, it is quite a grotesque display of special interest that we have so successfully driven out of the new age of politics.

it seems that the data collection and sharing is part of what they want to do administratively to reel some of this in.

the article in the other post about the 19 executive orders says this:

The executive actions could include giving the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention authority to conduct national research on guns, more aggressive enforcement of existing gun laws and pushing for wider sharing of existing gun databases among federal and state agencies, members of Congress in the meeting said.
