No it doesn’t matter to VT.

If they beat us and lose to UNC, they are out.
If they beat us and beat UNC, they are in.

If they lose to us and lose to UNC, they are out.
If they lose to us and beat UNC, they are in.

Bottom line - whatever their result is against UNC determines who advances.

He's a mid-week guy. The defense/offense is the regular lineup. Not sure why anyone would throw a RHP against us though. We struggle against lefties.
