Well guys, today I am exactly 75.5 years of age and

am sitting all alone in the piney woods listening for a wild turkey and as usual there has not been one sound to indicate that this species is not extinct. And it is especially odd that this smart phone generated every word precisely except for the 2 words “smart and phone”…… even species and extinct. I guess the phone knows there are no turkeys left in the world even though it has identity issues?

That sounds peaceful. As far as the phone predicting things. Sometimes I wonder if the phone pics up on conversations or what we are watching on TV through the sounds of course. Althoughnaccurate, sometimes the predictions just come out of nowhwere it seems.

I have tried turkey hunting numerous times but decided to stop. I refuse to hunt a species that is smarter than me. I recently bought a 12 LB. turkey at Food Lion for $10.

Have some farm land in lower part of SC. When I'm on the ground prior to turkey season the birds are all over the fields. But, when turkey season opens all these birds have moved to GA. I sit for hours and see none. The day after season close here they come. Dang birds are smart.

A gobbler roosted on the roof of my sister’s house in a subdivision most of the turkey season a few years ago and they never saw it again after it was over

CAN fly, at least for short distances. A pair wandered onto our property back when I was a teenager, and I chased them around trying to get close enough for a shot with my shotgun. They finally got tired of that carp, and took flight over our sawmill, over the sawdust pile beyond, and over the WOODS beyond that, before setting down in an adjacent field. They looked like an underpowered, overloaded airplane, but they DID lift off and fly.
