Probably because the NCAA is still gathering evidence against other offenders. For example, Michigan is going to get hammered way worse than Florida State. Other programs that will be destroyed will surface. Thank goodness we still have a coaching staff with integrity and morals.

I’d like to also add that usually whenever the NCAA places someone under investigation they already have their evidence to impose penalties.

That whole Rashada deal stunk from day one. Supposedly Miami had promised him $7.1mil then UF got him to change commitments by offering $13.8m, an amount they eventually couldn't cover. This world of college ball is a catastrophe.

I've heard at least 5 theories since sanctions were announced against FSU. I gave up on trying to use logic and reason to figure out how the NCAA acts. I have concluded that the only thing I know is they don't use logic and reason when they act.

They usually go after the schools on top because other schools are turning them in for cheating. The NCAA is never proactive in finding anything out themselves, they only “investigate” what they have been told.

NCAA may be running scared due to the possibility of SEC - Big Everhowmany consolidation making them irrelevant in football. They may be trying to make FSU damaged goods if they leave the ACC. Someone should check to see if the NCAA hired UNCheat's lawyers unless FSU did!
