Is the storm expected

Apr 19, 2019, 10:06 AM

to be clear of the Clemson area for the game today? Looks to be arriving in the Charlotte area in a couple of hours.

Looks that way. If we can believe the weather people - it should all be gone by 4:30-5pm.

All the storms should pass. There is a chance for spotty showers this evening but should not affect the game other than a small delay at best.

Hopefully our administrators won’t jump the gun like last couple weeks.

if we play tonight, it will probably be delayed

we've already gotten an inch of rain this morning, with another inch predicted for this PM. Not supposed to stop until around gametime. Unlikely they can prep the field for a ontime start.

Easy thing would be to play a DH tomorrow, but there's rain scheduled then too until the late afternoon. And a high of 52 degrees. YUCK.

Certainly hope the winds aren't as intense as the predictions. Current WBTV radar shows the heavy part of the storm just moving into the G'ville metro area.
