Is our coach simply the Chick-fil-A version of coach Prime?

They are both strong Christians with strong g convictions! They are both outspoken about their stances. Dabo only serves chicken(no portal) to a certain market and Coach Prime is like American Deli that serves a broader menu to a certain market. Both are hated for their limitations and breadth. Both are lightning rods. What some describe and see as arrogance or flashiness is acceptable and good and seen completely differently to another group who think Dabo is arrogant and destructively prideful to football. Dabo went out and got the “flashiest” hire in Riley and we still lost to wait for it……. Duke and scored 17 points against, wait for it……. Wake. Colorados lost is not a “haha” to coach primes pride and arrogance and judgment on his flashiness any more than our performance is on our coach’s version of there same thing.

Not even close. Prime and Dabo have only one thing in common. Currently both are employed as CFB coaches.

I don’t care what you call Coach Dabo but if he doesn’t start using the transfer portal and start helping the players overcome these turnovers it doesn’t matter. It still haunts me the turnovers we had in the Duke and FSU games.

They are both good leaders.
It could be Dieon is just more honest about the rules surrounding college football and recruiting or more open.
Deion has a lot to prove to be Dabo level. Dobo is not making a lot of Clemson fans happy but a 6 year run in the 4 team playoff and two national championships are real.
Dion ain't close to that yet.

Chick filA is way more successful than American Deli (the comparison I believe I used). I am just saying they appeal to different markets.

Call me when Coach Sanders has been in CFP 6 times, played for National Championship 4 times, and won 2 National Championships, plus won 10+ games for 12 consecutive years; gone 15-0 once and 14-1 three times during that span; won 8 conference championships (5 consecutive); been ranked in the top 5 in the final poll 6 times, and won more than 80% of his games (plus won more than 160 games).
Are we struggling a bit right now? Sure. Is it due not using the portal? Doubt it. Not to mention, we have at least one transfer players on the team right now. We were right at the line on scholarships, do you want Dabo to be one of the Coaches that runs players off to maybe find a replacement in the free-agent portal?
I'm not sure on what basis you are comparing Coach Prime to CDS, other than their religion and perhaps their enthusiasm for the game?

That follow different strategies. Dabo has mellowed a lot and has become less vocal over the years. I don’t knock either one of them. The rules have been established and they both are operating within the rules. Prime is still a work in progress and time will tell.
