Is Clemson really worthy of being in top 4 this week?

Considering ND playing good ball & losing by only 1 vs terrific UGa team, Bucks beating PSU, PSU losing only by 1 on road at OHst, Wisc & Miami being undefeated but really not sure how good they are, etc.
Saying, lots of good competition...and winning ACC will be the only possible ticket for Clemson to go to the 4-Team Party..
IMHO.

If you consider the strength of our schedule and the fact that we are defending National Champ, I do think we belong. I think it's close with the 4 and 5 spots.

We don’t deserve it anyways. Georgia or Alabama has to lose to the other team. We may get the opportunity to play and beat Miami. One of Wisconsin and Ohio state won’t be champs. Don’t care if 4, 5, or 6 right now. But win out and will be top four.

I think we land at 5-7. I am ok with that. This ranking means nothing at this point in the season. Just good conversation. We lose to NC State and the ACC could get left out.
I am unimpressed with Miami and I think VT is the better team.

Before anyone played a game everyone belonged in the top four. As the season goes on teams drop out. Two weeks ago we dropped out but now others are doing their dropping. As things go on the herd will be culled and the better breeds will show.

Winning the ACC is, and always has been the only way for Clemson to reach the playoffs. The ACC will not be the first conference to get two teams in the playoff, so winning the title is the only way.

We will be ranked #4 in the first cfp poll.Personally if the CFP committee were honest, they'd put Bama in the same grouping with Miami and Wisc of "who'd dey beat?" But we all know better than that.

We will be 4. The committee doesn't care about what no names you beat. Wisconsin will be 5 and we will be 4 based on strength of schedule.
