As I thought, no, I was not defending him. I dont know him or his posts. However, (1) his comment was on the wrong board and (2) the "no detainment awaiting trial" movement is causing a lot of under reported issues, this case being one example. I'll stand by both of those opinions. Why that would be controversial, I do not know. What problems you have with RPM, or why, I do not know.. I do not keep up with who is considered agreeable on the board, and I am not going to start now, and I would not censor my comments accordingly if I did.
If that is not acceptable, I am not getting back into line: I speak for myself, not about anyone else. I thought you were the same.
Edit: If someone has a problem with a poster's history, and responds to the person, that is fine, their choice. I dont have to join in. Knowing all this, I might not have posted at all - no sense getting between personal squabbles. But I was not defending anyone, aside from a right to an opinion.

It does happen too much, and I still contend that people who "accidentally" post something political on the Lunge do it on purpose because they aren't getting the attention they crave.
As for the topic, no, she absolutely did not deserve this. But Murph's overall reason for posting this is pretty despicable.

Try to be less intellectually lazy. Learn about an issue that matters to you and really develop an opinion about it that you can defend. It would make you a more interesting person to discuss things with, and you would likely find it personally rewarding.

The real shame here is White females are under constant pressure to consider Black males as viable love interests. This arrangement was an obvious mismatch as the photos plainly show.
The fact the guy has a previous sentence of 21 months should've been a red flag to the judge. You don't get this kinds of sentences for pushing and slapping a woman.
Nobody should get a free pass in thus world. Lots of people and peoples have experienced abuses but that doesn't give them the right to be outlaws. This judge's politics are deeply flawed.
