the record for number of different handles from the same IP address? I'm gonna guess it is in double figures, easily.
And, couldn't you at least ban their IP address, which would at least force them to spend some change on a different box before they could come back and aggravate Tigernet again?
Of course, we would need a Go Fund Me for new compooters for folks like dsp, who get bannded on a routine basis because they think it brings the Tigers good luck, or some other equally nebulous reasoning.

All you need is a VPN, not a new "box". Some VPNs are free, so it wouldn't necessarily cost them anything.

As mentioned already, sadly IPs haven't been helpful in probably 15-20 years now. Most people use a VPN, which I also recommend doing. Even if you don't it's not hard to get a new IP by unplugging your cable modem or whatever you have.
We process all registrations manually so we catch most of the attempts to get new accounts, but not all.

is AI. Regardless of what they call themselves, most people develop patterns to their speech, be it spoken, written, or typed on a keyboard. The MODS could use an AI Bot to detect these patterns and nail repeat undesirables.
If a Stanley has to change his habits enough to get around a good AI Bot outing him, maybe he will finally lose interest in the TNETS. And maybe, just maybe, the real truth about how many in the Brad Brownell Minion Army are actually just Judge Kellers by another name would also be revealed! There could be, tens of them.
