Been looking at the F/+ Rankings all the way back to 2005.

Since 2005, 3 teams that were ranked number one in F/+ rankings (1 and 3 also won a NC) have been far and away better than the second placed team in F/+.

1) Alabama in 2012 (13-1), was 9.3 points ahead of second place Texas A&M (11-2).
2) Clemson in 2015 (6-0), is 8.1 points ahead of second place Alabama (6-1).
3) Auburn in 2010 (14-0), was 7.3 points ahead of second place Alabama (10-3).

I usually don’t put much faith in stats. However, if we continue to win and play the way we are, this could very well be a special season for the Tigers.
