In your opinion how should the US treat Cuba?

For 60 years we have giving Cuba the stiff arm, trying to force our politics on them. But how has that been working? Lousy! In the meantime Russia and China are getting buddy buddy with them.
Why don't we just accept Cuba for who they are. Open up trade and tourism with them?
Cuba is one of the most visited countries in the Caribbean. Canadians and Europeans have been going the for decades. About 4 million tourist visited Cuba the year before Covid. I think Obama's approach was heading on the right track.

I believe Obama did lift the ban on Cuba. You could visit their Country when he was in office and we did start some trade with them. Trump stopped it and banned Cuba again when took office and Biden has not lifted the ban.

Cuban food, in general, is pretty bland and screams "poor" for obvious reasons. I'm tired of pretending it's not.
If Cubans had better food and weren't communist, I would be inclined to view them as more human.

Are we still worried that Russia might park some nukes there? Seems like the sanctions are just tradition at this point.
I'd bet some old people are uncomfortable with Cuba but they can't explain why.
