In one of the Tigernet articles today Dabo described the Louisville offense

Balanced with 3 running backs, a QB who can run and extend plays with his legs. He can throw deep and likes to hit crossing patterns over the middle. They have a experienced team with a good offensive line.
What is Clemson’s offensive identity. Please no sarcasm or pointing out problems with players or coaches. Just describe our offensive identity.

We have two good running backs. We have a good d. Special teams is fine. We need DJ to run 10 times.

We are at home. We only need DJ to go.....say 16 for 25 with no int. We do this and we win by 7 to 10 pt.

Norte Dame online was all NFL guys. They had One NFL pass rusher. L ville is not the Irish. The QB is good but we can win this game.

It’s obvious we don’t have one but here’s my best shot:
RPO’s 50% of the time where the options are 1) RB up the middle; 2) QB keep off tackle; or 3) Quick toss to WR screen
20% designed runs - either QB power or RB outside
10% swing pass to RB
10% play action 50/50 balls to outside WRs
10% “trick plays” like throwing to WRs or TEs across the middle

The Tigers have enough talent on defense to play with any team. It appears to me that the running game today involves the OL doing a lot of pushing. More so than in past years. Only the strong survive!!!

I thought going into this season that the DLine would be a major strength but I’m not sure it is. Our linebackers aren’t really make the big stops we’ve become accustomed to seeing. Is this coaching or what? Maybe our strength and conditioning program is lacking. I know one thing . We don’t have a Wilkins type player in the lineup!

I think KJ is a Wilkins type player.

You're wrong. Love KJ. Think he has a great comeback story and is our best defensive lineman by a wide margin. I have seen nothing on the field showing he brings the mental energy and leadership to the line Wilkins did. Wilkins made everyone else better around him by not tolerating laziness or not playing your assignments. KJ doesn't have that personality (he's also pretty clear not as good as Wilkins, though he's the best tackle we ever had).
