This is key. Mickey Spagnola (local Cowboys reporter) had commented recently that Jerry is GM in name only (paraphrasing), but it was reported years ago that Jerry had been undermining HCs trying to instill discipline. If Jerry is still doing this, no matter what HC is brought in, this is going to result in negative results on the field (IMO).

Yeah go along with what others have said, I don’t think Bellicheck would want to work for Jones.

Not that Bellicheck would do bad in Dallas, but his conflict with Robert Kraft in New England for many years probably has burnt him out in regards to GM-HC relationships. He won’t want another owner or GM who could be worse.
