But Cal & Stanford, no way in he!!. This is a total boneheaded move based solely on TV. No consideration for the athletes whatsoever. Add SMU and force ND to join as a full member and move on with 16 teams. If ND won’t join fully, kick them to the curb and add WVU. If Stanford & Cal are in the ACC. We should leave.

You can't add West Virginia when they are already in a conference that is better than the ACC.

SMU, with it's wealthy football lovin' alums, has an upside. They've been waiting for 30+ years to join a major conference. The question is can they buy a big boy football team now that they have a P4 membership.

They have a beautiful (albeit small) on campus stadium with all individual seating. Kind of like Kenan.

Cal and Stanford are better football programs than some of the current ACC members. I don't mind gaining them all that much. But, it probably doesn't matter. Clemson is leaving anyways.
