Tacos for me fall into 2 categories. Let's call them authentic and gringo. I mean I'm not sure these would qualify as actual qualified categories, but for purposes of this post let's just roll with it.

Mkay.

What I would call an authentic taco...Lime goes without saying. I'd also have a corn tortilla, onion, cilantro, some kind of protein (normally meat but possibly black beans), and salsa. And I ain't talking about no fugging Pace picante or El Paso or whatever shid you gringos try to pass off. Salsa is homemade. PERIOD. IF you have to ask how to make it you can't afford it.

A gringo taco. A gringo taco would be in a flour tortilla and would contain ground beef, onions, tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream maybe, and gringo salsa.

I'll eat both prefer more the former than the ladder. Not sure if that expression came out write I'm still working on English as a 2nd language so bear with me por favor.

on Rivers Ave. It is sketch as #### but there are like 4 little Guatemalan grandmas back there making tacos. These things are the bomb. At least they were a year ago when my office was over by this place. Lots of latinxs eating there so it should be legit right?

Anyways, when you order tacos all they ask you is do you want corn or flour tortillas. That's it. If you order corn, the way god intended, you get tacos with protein of choice, white onion and cilantro. Salsa and slices of lime on the side and you can get all the pickled carrots you want out of the container on the counter.

If'n you order flour tortillas like a white boy, you get protein of choice, lettuce and shredded cheese like you are eating at Taco Bell. And they for sure talk #### about you.
