We needed someone to light Dabo's fire or at least to allow us to see Dabo's fire again. We've all missed it for 3-4 years. I don't think Dabo or Tyler for that matter said anything very out of line. It was ALL needed.

Great managers and coaches have been doing this for years...taking the pressure off the players and dealing with all the crap head on. In years past, it was the Clemsoning or Dabo and Spurrier getting into it. Sometimes, the spark will come from the most unexpected sources. So, thank you Tyra or Finebum, or whoever you are.

I don't know if the call will fire up the team, many of whom seem to be playing like deadbeats. But it sure as heck fired up the coach. He needs to hire other coaches who scream a little.

Sure, but tonight Dabo defended himself. Not the team. Not Clemson. Just himself and what he’s accomplished here. Not sure this will spark the team to a big win Saturday. Time will tell.
