Look at Trey Alexander for Creighton. Playing UCONN right now and looks like the prototypical lethal scorer and shooter in the NBA.
I think our basketball team how it is, it is dangerous. They could really beat anyone, like UNC when they were supposedly slacking off. But there is a ceiling to it it seems like.
I wish to see a Brownell get a player that is tall and has length that can score at will. At an elite level. Until we start getting those types of players, I think things will continue stagnating at the level we’re at.
By the way, this is one thing we need. Not everything.

Yes.
And you had to go back to 1974-1975 to find one, the only one.
50 years ago.
That is telling.
But you could throw in Tree Rollins and Larry Nance, but still from 45 yrs ago. Throw in Dale Davis, Elden Campell or Trevor Booker in terms of very strong college player.

And let’s be real, Zion is from Spartanburg. Which was a major reason why Clemson was up there.

I'd rather have a slide installed in LJ. A slide would benefit every future team. A single player like you described would only be around for a season or two.
