If you had only one word to use to describe Brad Brownell,

what would that word be? Mine is easy, I think it describes his general personality, coaching style, and lack of intensity perfectly. The word is:
Milquetoast.
Teams seem to take on the personality of their coaches, and this team is no exception. "Soft", "Timid", any of those type words would probably apply. Sadly, I don't think Brad Brownell (or anyone else) can overcome his basic personality, and thus, as long as he is here, that is what Clemson Basketball is doomed to be.
Feel free to add your own descriptive words to the dead horse beating.

We had the 29th most wins in the country whole TB was head coach. I get the comparison, but Tommy Bowden did much better.

Tommy Bowden IMO contributed a lot to the future success of Clemson football. One of his biggest contributions was to make the BOT and the Athletic Department realize they were going to invest more into the football program if they wanted to be more successful.
He hired Dabo , then unselfishly stepped down and recommended Dabo to take over the program. Without the additional financial investments into better assistant coaches, new facilities and Dabo’s vision for Clemson those 2 additional NC Trophies would be in another school’s Trophy case.
Give TB at least some credit for improving the program. Because he did help set the standard higher.
Some of you are hard on coaches. Even Dabo after all he has accomplished for Clemson.
He also started the culture change at Clemson and left Dabo with a solid foundation to build from. Brownell has accomplishments at Clemson too. IMO if you want to blame someone for the state of Clemson BB put some blame on Frank Howard as AD did not care about Clemson Basketball. This is why LJ has had so many upgrades. FH had a basketball area thrown up as cheaply as he could.
