Go ahead and give up on Bojangles

Jun 15, 2016, 9:52 AM

The chicken on the cajun filet biscuits has gotten too rubbery, the chicken has gotten too greasy (if they have any ready), and more times than not the fries aren't seasoned. You've also got a 70% chance of your order being wrong in some capacity. If you want a good Bojangles experience, you've got to go to North Carolina for some reason.

Seems about right. Had a handful of soggy fries with no seasoning. The gravy is okay, though. Wish I could make it.

If you don't go to Hardee's for a gravy biscuit

The Hardees in my town has boarded up windows. The same franchisee owns both buildings (Bojangles and Hardees), so I think closing one was a weird way to avoid eating himself.

You get free hepatitis at Hardee's in Lyman and Duncan when you order any biscuit.

they have the good sense to put slaw on it too.

BBQ sammich + season fries + sweet tea = tasty $4.99 lunch.

The ones in NC are a lot better for some reason

Jun 15, 2016, 10:09 AM [ in reply to Because you're not getting a bacon, egg, & cheese. ]

I used to love the cajun filet biscuits, they were great to take out on the boat and stuff. The past few times we've gone, the chicken was just too rubbery. I also used to love their chicken legs, but now I have a hard time so much as looking at them laying in the pool of grease they come in.

You'd think the one in Lake Wylie would be better,

being so close to NC and all. They did something to make my Dad's special lady mad though and she will not go back. Plus side is I usually get a nice, home cooked breakfast when I am up there.

The service at Bojangles has become one of the worst

Jun 15, 2016, 11:04 AM [ in reply to Go ahead and give up on Bojangles ]

on planet earth. The only exception to this is the one in Easley on game day (among the best service anywhere anytime).

They normally have 4-5 people milling around bitching at each other, and 5-7 customers in line not getting a dayum thing. Titsawful.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Even brand new ones are like that, I don't get it

Jun 15, 2016, 11:38 AM

I would think if I invested that much money in a franchise, I would make sure the service was at least average for the first few months. Don't pisss all of your customers off from the get-go.
