I really think that going undefeated is a real possibility.
I can't see right now where we could be considered a underdog in any game besides the fsu game. To be honest....I think we beat Fsu, and do it with authority.
Orange glasses? Maybe. But I think this is the best team we've had in years.

The way-too-early line vs. the Capons: South Carolina at Clemson (-3.5)
Vtech I'd imagine will be a 4 to 5 point line to us.
Gtech about the same.

We will be favored over both Vatech and GaTech by more than 3 easily. With Carolina however it will depend on how our seasons go and it is at home.

"Easily"? Don't know about that, hard to tell how either GT or VT will be doing at that point. If either are undefeated, you think the line will be "easily" more than 3, even if aren't off to a great start? So hard to say at this point.

I don't think we do it with "authority" I think it'll be close. Besides it is in Tallahassee. No way Clemson is coming out of Tallahassee with authority. Just hoping we win.

I think FSU will have one of the best Defenses in the country, but I see theirs struggling to score points if Venables is able to improve the linebacker play. If we can minimize the QBs running ability which has continually killed us over last 3 years, I think we can out score the Noles.
But I am still uneasy about the youth on the O-line. Caldwell is a great coach and the new Man blocking scheme will help, but we have got to be able to protect Boyd. I think we have a very good shot at winning the Atlantic again but it comes down to the O-lines performance.
Go Tigers!!! Can't wait to see the pistol formation!!

see how you can make any of those statements. While I am hopeful that we can make big strides on defense, I just don't think we have the horses in the trenches and the overall depth that we need to perform at a high level every single week.
I think it will take another year.

I'm not certain why NCSU is not mentioned as a possible loss this year. NCSU lost Russell Wilson (yeh - that guy) and still stomped us at their house. Yes - we get them in DV, but CTOB is a pretty darn good coach - and you can bet that his OLine and DLine are going to be better than ours. He understands how valuable the lines are. Not saying we don't, but he does something about it. We'll see - but I think FSU and NCSU are our 2 biggest problems to win the ACC. I think 1 of CU, FSU, and NCSU will win the Atlantic, so we need to beat BOTH of those teams.
