Where it needs to go, he must win the ACC Tourney. He pooched his other way into the NCAA Tourney with the fecal tornado of a regular season in systemically losing to sub-par competition. I don't subscribe to the ACC being down narrative and he does get credit for a bunch of regular season wins, but the Q4 losses are inexcusable.
It's all still in front of this team, but they will have to play 3 very solid games. All 3 of the teams we potentially play we have beaten or can beat if shooting is on and we play inside out. Go Tigers!

evidenced by the number of Clemson coaches that have ever done that in the previous 70 years the ACC tournament has been around? If that's the standard then we are all crazy people asking for that to be the standard for Clemson basketball.

So along those misguided lines of thinking, I guess Tony Bennett has to go at UVA because they were dogged by BC and Jeff Capel has to go at Pitt because they lost to ND and all the other power house teams they lost to. Nice knowing you Tony and Jeff.

this is it. No teams with Michael Jordan or Grant Hill type players. Every team is beatable and this team has shown it can get hot at times. Hopefully this team can do it at the right time.

The Tigers have some impressive large season wins that surprised me.
Unfortunately, I think they are 7-8 on the road. That includes losses to USuC, Loyola of Chicago, BC, and U of Loserville. With 2 good road wins at Pitt and Nancy STATE. (I think Pitt's star player did not play.)
More unfortunately, all of the ACCT games will be road games for the Tigers against hostile crowds and the Zebras will not be fair. I hope our Tigers win one or two games. That wd b almost historic.
