possibly.

But it was Dabo that went out and hired a high school coach with only one year in the college game to be his OC.

Dabo ain't perfect, but unlike his predecessor, he seems to learn from his mistakes and fix them instead of beating his head against the wall to prove the world wrong.

Another Neter with 5 years membership and less (way less) than a thousand post who seems to think he( or they) know it all and have the quick fix solution to Clemson failures.So here is my suggestion.Get on the phone Monday morning ,call TDP,or Pres. Barker and let them know you think we should hire Gary Patterson.
Then ,when they tell you if you like Patterson so well maybe you should go pull for TCU,you'll take their advice!

I like Dabo but it's his philosophy

I think he thinks The Oregon style is the way to win. That works until you meet up with a physical team. He should be spending time in Alabama in the off season instead of Nevada. Football is different than it was years ago, but one thing remains the same. Defense is what keeps you in games when offense struggles.

There is nothing wrong with Clemson in terms of scheme, philosophy, leadership or coaching. We have a fine offense that did what it needed to do to win, and a defense that was not up to the challenge. Simple as that.

The offense is not great because of the scheme, but because we have a coach who teaches what he does better than other people teach what they do, and he has the players to run it. We have only half that on defense.
