Nation-no doubt. If Bozo was given his walking papers, even without Dabo, this conference gets better instantly.

It would have a degree of integrity, and we would be respected. As it stands now, there are only a few teams, Clemson included) who have any credibility as a factor in FB, and we have become a laughing stock with the recent revelations about uncheat and their "academic" prowess, and also about how ND was allowed to be an ACC member in name only and only in minor sports.

While i certainly agree with you about the ND deal, if it wasn't made at all, then who would have filled ND's spot this year, and would we be as highly ranked considering that is our "best win" from the talking heads thus far.

Even if we filled that spot with the traditional Auburn, would our schedule warrant us being where we are now?

Unfortunately, ND brings schedule respect, deservedly or not. That being said, they might feel still feel the pain of not being in a conference this year. We'll see how it pans out.

The deal wasn't all bad, and there have been some tangible benefits, the addition of ND on a few FB schedules being among them, but I still don't like them not being "all in". My biggest problem is with Swofford in general. He has let the boat sail without us (ACC) and especially without any regard to Clemson on many occasions. I don't forget, nor forgive that, and it hurt the whole conference, not just us. At least their should have been a clause in the deal that said if they ever chose to enter a conference for the next 20 years (e. g.) they have to join ours. As it stands now, I believe they can leave us and go to any conference they choose. Pretty unilateral, if I'm right.
