Once the first read isn't there. Cade tends to hold the ball when his first read isn't there.

In Cade's defense, Penix is almost 39 years old and is on his 6th season

Getting to your 2nd read quickly and decisively can be achieved with reps. He just needs to put in the time and work over the summer with the guys. UGA ain't gonna give him his first read very often. Might as well prepare for it.

The penix TD throw there wasn't a long play.
First read was getting held, went to second right away and threw.

window. Also doesn't hurt that Penix has NFL caliber WR's catching his passes as well.

I like Cade and hope he takes his game to the next level this off season. Come 31 August, UGA is going to really test Cade's abilities and if we hope to beat the leghumpers we are going to need a much improved Klubnik.
