Deshaun would absolutely have multiple super bowl rings were he drafted by KC, IMO.

I was hoping KC would draft him, and was somewhat disappointed when they didn't.

I'm not sure. Injuries and other intangibles make it hard to tell.

Unless I am mis-remembering, a factor in the injuries was wear on his body due to the Texans not getting him protection and weapons. Watson's talents were completely wasted in Houston IMO, and I just don't believe that would have been the case in KC.

As you said, though, it is hard to tell due to several factors.

Crazy hypothetical but we can't even be sure Mahomes develops to this level if he lands elsewhere. If DW4 had landed there, it could be a similar story...I mean, he was making some of the plays that we witness Mahomes doing in CFB and on the biggest stages.

That said, gotta give credit where it's due. Mahomes is the real deal and is the new Brady for the foreseeable future until Reid retires at the earliest.

One thing I'm interested in seeing though is how Jim Harbaugh does in LA with the Chargers...AFC is a gauntlet and if Jim is able to turn it around at a division rival it might be a Herbert and Mahomes title matchup similar to the Manning and Brady battles.
