Duke.

Seriously. We get VT and NC St. at Clemson. I watched most of the Duke/VT game and before VT remembered that the were playing "####### DUKE?!" they were being dominated.

I also remember how all our players said after our '04 (?) loss up there that playing at Duke was like a scrimmage--it was so quiet that you can easily get lulled to sleep. Plus they're 5-2. This is a decent Duke team...

I think VT and State are both better teams but AT Duke will be a bigger test in my opinion.

but Duke doesn't have the horses to run with our 2nd team. duke has beat absolutely no one. they will not win another game this year. same ole duke. don't let the early season record fool you. yes VT did sleep walk during first qtr and duke got up 20-0, but VT's mediocre defense and offense shut duke down for the other 3 qtrs.

we will beat duke by 3+ touchdowns.

i personally think our toughest conf game left is against VT. a noon game against a very hungry team.

Even though we get them at home (thank goodness!) remember how well they played us last year & remember how close we came to losing to Wake at home last year... with the state of our defense, we can't sleep on ANYONE! Go Tigers!

I think they'll be a top 25 team by the time they get to the Valley. Always play great at end of the year and Maryland is coming on too and have a pretty good defense. Diggs is a freak and is coming on

This is a general statement no specifically criticizing your post.

I can tell you the lack of atmosphere excuse doesn't fly w me. we usually outnumber them up there fan wise. players either execute or they don't. if you use Duke's atmosphere (or lack of) it is a complete and total cop out for not being prepared and ready to play. lack of their crowd would make your job easier if you were focused on doing it.

good teams find a way. they don't look for outs.

Maryland due to defense and NC State due to QB play. Dont forget SC still has a lot to play for.

I would think Wake Forest may be tougher just because they will run the football and if our defense does not play well it could be a long night on a Thursday.
