One thing I thought hurt us all year and again last night

was not having any threat of a pass-catching TE. The drop-off from Leggett to Richard, who seems to be a decent blocker but not that quick/fast, may have been the biggest of all the guys we lost on offense, including DW. Not having that TE threat allows other teams' linebackers to crowd the line to stop the run and short passing game. Hopefully that will be a point of emphasis next year regardless of who the QB situation.

true.. i think we all witnessed what we were afraid going into the season.. the loss of 3, 4, 7, 9 and 16... that's a lot of talent and experience to lose and repeat as NC's.

we had the talent to beat everyone this season.. up til last night.. bama is bama and you're either on your game with top notch talent and still only hopeful to beat them like we were last year... or you're who we were last night..

but, we'll get better qb play in the next few years.. we'll be back.

have the same gameplan with him in there. He caught the ball, blocked well, and ran well with the ball when called on.

He is supposedly the fastest TE we have by far .
