College football on a Tuesday night?

2

And Wednesday? Is there a reason why?

Makes me wonder how unhinged our fans would get if we had to play on a Tuesday.

At least it's a decent game: Coastal at App State.***

not terribly different than playing on Monday night.......

Oct 10, 2023, 11:43 AM

plus fans of those 6 non-P5 teams playing tonight are probably pretty ecstatic about being the college football "focal point" for that night and on National TV.

At least there was a reason for us to play on a Monday night…Labor Day holiday.

What’s the reason for playing tonight? It’s just a generic Tuesday, right?

I think it's been par for the course for those conferences..

the last however many years. I don't know, gets their brand out there on national TV, students/fans get excited.

Similar to how we used to be in TB days for Thursday night games.......while we had very few Thursday home games, they were well attended with really good atmospheres.

If I'm not mistaken I believe I saw where tonight starts a 22+ days of consecutive Football on TV (NFL & college)

reasoning.?.......have no idea.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It started 10 or so days ago - but up until Thanksgiving,

football is on TV for 54 of 55 straight days . . . . that's nuts.

College and/or Pro.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

Rush home from school....do the homework..or most of it and meet all the guys in the big vacant yard and play football.

It gives smaller schools a chance at capturing viewers and recruiting. MAC schools usually dominate these games but glad to see extra football if I want to

It's always been Tuesday and Wednesday nights though I think it used to start in November and run the final month of the season.

I don't see the complaint?

Would you rather watch American Idol tonight or College Football?

When you see the number of empty seats it's obvious that it's all about tv money. New Mexico State plays 3 straight Wednesdays and the 4th week on Tuesday. 2 at home, 2 away. Matter of survival I guess.
