The CFP Committee Principles make room for a team missing a key plsyer(s) in a game. (see below)

Committee Principles

The selection committee will select the teams using a process that distinguishes among otherwise comparable teams by considering:
Conference championships won,
Strength of schedule,
Head‐to‐head competition,
Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory), and,

(TAKE A LOOK AT THIS ONE - WOULD NOT THIS APPLY TO FSU MISSING QB2?)
Other relevant factors such as unavailability of key players and coaches that may have affected a team’s performance during the season or likely will affect its postseason performance.

Could the Committee consider FSU missing QB2 as a “relevant factor?”

I think it's the QB1 and SEC-blockage that are going to be the consideration unfortunately

Michigan and Washington will probably be ranked one and two. I like Florida State against either of those two @least to be competitive.

The committee knows that the QB that beat Florida (and had a pretty good game doing it) will be available for the playoffs. The kid who's playing tonight will not be the starter for the playoffs. There is a precedent as well for a hurt QB not causing a team to be left out - 2013 Ohio State. They went on to win the Natty with their 2nd string QB.
