I have seen from a Clemson QB both belong to Watson. First game @ UGA on a dime to Peake with absolutely no room for error. Also the 2nd TD to Cain vs Louisville in 2016. Watching the ball in the air was absolutely PERFECT.

That was the moment I knew we had our guy. I don’t blame Dabo for easing him in, but i do believe to this day we would have beaten #1 fsu on the road that year if he started over Cole.

That game still pains me even now. Just so many fluke errors, and if even ONE of them hadn't happened, Clemson would've won the game. I think Dabo said later that was the most devastated locker room he had ever been in after it was over. Of course Clemson still lost to GT later that year, so who knows if that one would've turned out different had the Tigers beaten FSU earlier. But we can only look back now and speculate... Ah well, the next few years were alright though lol

I always had a theory that Clemson would have been top 10 against GT if we hadn’t lost to fsu and it may have been a night game. That would lead to us beating GT and Watson never tearing his ACL. 11-1 ACC champs would have probably gotten us in the playoffs that year

Agreed 100%.... That UGA game we were there, but just couldn't handle the Gurley/Chubb combo. Thats a tough backfield for any defense to overcome. We were there but the defense just got worn down in the 21 point 4th quarter.

Cullen Harper to Aaron Kelly vs BC. Pass was beautiful, the catch not so much. Most angry I’ve been at a Clemson game (well maybe the botched punt vs GT).
Positive one was Lawerence to Renfrow at GT his freshman year. One of the most impressive throws I’ve ever seen.

I definitely overlooked that one, but I remember vividly that pass being one of the purest balls I have ever seen. Thank you/I hate you for bringing that pass up 😉

I believe that was right at the time he was named the all time receptions leader as well. On the bright side, Dabo may not have his job if that catch was made

I took advantage of being the only person on a flight from GSP to Charlotte one night and threw a beautiful pass towards one of the most beautiful women (a stewardess) I have ever seen. She caught it and we had two great dates before I figured out she wasn't over her soon-to-be ex-husband.
But I'm telling you...the pass was perfection!
