his grimacing, limping and grabbing his back routine. Guess he needs an excuse for being the worst golfer left on the course.

I respect Tiger for what he has done for the game, for being a great champion and for overcoming more injuries than any human should ever have. Sadly I don't disagree about the limping but who are we to say how he feels?

No Tiger doesn't care, but he is playing purely on his name at this point and not his ability. Jack finished top 10 at age 56 (I believe). Not even close to being what Jack was to the sport. Tiger is a good story, but his personal issues will taint his legacy. Truly wish he would go to the senior tour, watching him now is sad and depressing.

I’m a huge fan of Jack…grew up watching him in the 70’s and 80’s…but to say Tiger is not even close to being what Jack was to the sport…that’s silly.

Let’s see: the man nearly lost his leg and has multiple hardware installed. The ankle is shot as is the knee. Is it possible that you could cross the room under similar circumstances?
And for the sake of argument we’ll ignore his back troubles.
Not saying his actions heretofore were admirable, but he does persevere.

I don’t know about you but i can’t get through 15 holes without grimacing, limping, and grabbing my back…much less 72 holes in four straight days.
Plus the guy has had like three knee replacements and multiple back surgeries. I’m sure his pain is real, but he’s a slave to the sport he loves and still makes millions doing it.

Well his leg was shattered and nearly amputated so he’s got a pretty good excuse for the limp.

and when I took her to a Masters practice round in 2000 and she saw Tiger up fairly close she exclaimed that he was darker than she remembered on Tv (saying: she did not realize or care he was Black!).
And story on Palmer dislike is from her days in Charlotte & Pinehurst of being a PGA tour volunteer & hostess and felt he was a womanizer.
She played golf all over NC, SC (charter member at River Hills Plantation Country Club) & Fl but gave it up at age 83 due to Dementia & later Alzheimer's.

You are entitled to your opinion, but you’re being an absolute hater. I am assuming that you would praise Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player while simultaneously excluding Tiger Woods from the legend conversation. Tiger has won 15 majors and helped evolve the game. Jack won 18 majors and also helped evolve the game. Woods is a legend and deserves respect.

His off the course issues didn't help either. But, athletes lose all benefit of the doubt with me when their doctor is busted with PEDs. Anthony Galea is a convicted PED smuggler, and Tiger was quite mum on the issue. Over two years, Tiger paid $200,000 to the cheating doctor.
