how these "football" schools year in and year out spend tons of their "divided" income to promote their football and give the ACC a better product on the field, which in turns gives us a better seat at the negotiation tables. Meanwhile, Dook and UeffinNCheat spend the majority of their "divided" income promote their basketball teams. The tv deal is reported to be 80% football and 20% basketball. That is total BS. We all #### well know that UNC and Duke don't give two ##### about football. But if we win the MNC they know they will get a big chunk of money. On the other hand if they win the NC in basketball they get to keep every #### penny. Swoffie fought his ### off for the ACC to keep third tier rights for basketball and he got it; he got it because he gave up the third tier rights in football. Raycom would be bankrupt if it wasn't for ACC football. So tell me how they have any #### money to pay us? I pray that the leadership at Clemson is taking this very seriously! Otherwise we will remain in the ACC and become completely irrelevant in the big picture. Swofford's love fest for UNC and Duke basketball is a major conflict of interest to most (if not the rest) of the schools in the ACC! We now sit in the drivers seat; and I for one say stomp on the gas and flatten Swoffie on our way to the BIGXII! It has been a good run in the ACC but it is time for us to fish or cut bait!

In this day and time it is very important that a school have the best on the market to compete. I'm not just talking about competing on the field or court. We have to compete with other schools with equipment and the facilities where we have that equipment. A kid could have been a fan of your school his whole life. But if you don't have the things that's needed for the kids to grow into a top athlete's. That kid will be signing to play at the school that does. Its just that simple.

Dead on! I hate to say it but look at USUCKjr. They started getting SEC money and in return they built a new baseball stadium and basketball facility! They are also completely revamping Willy Brice! Also they are beating us at every sport. If we don't do something now we will be left behind!
