use it depending on the situation. They're thinking that iPad users will want their standard iPads for business settings and use the mini for more relaxed settings (reading, etc.)

latest and greatest competitor. Nexus 7. Even then though, the top level Nexus 7 is $249 with 16GB memory. If they had just given it an SD slot I might have considered it a great option, but it looks like a wash with the hypothetical iPad mini.

It's just a less useful computer. Or a bigger iPhone without the phone. Or a bigger, more powerful but clumsier iTouch. The point is, it's unnecessary. Unless... 1) You are old and computer-retarded, or 2) You just f-ing love that feeling of looking cool while flipping through your computer with your fingertips.
