trying to have a conversation with a bunch of ignorant people that are too clueless to admit that Clemson play calling has digressed over the past 3 years. Orange Pumpers = Anyone on the board that states anything obvious to 99% of fans but they do not like the comments from others that have a different point of view. Clemson is perfect every game.
I am happy that Clemson wins games but not happy with areas Clemson needs to work on like play calling, but Chad choses to ignore the obvious like short yardage issues, mixing up the play calls, being original and not so predictable.
There is nothing worse in my book then people that have no spine and can not admit that Clemson needs to improve in areas. Clemson could have 7 turnovers and win the game by a point and the pumpers would be as happy as pigs in mud. SUNSHINE 24/7. Get real and take off the orange glasses....

imo... Morris has left quite a bit to be desired.

The problem is also the fact that you seem to forget the 2009 season.
Our offense has been/is light years better than it was.
And like others have said, just make one thread about it.

And it makes me laugh that out of that post you could have had a discussion about the offense as it has transitioned from the 6-7 season to now, but instead you take a sentence about not posting the same thing over and over...
And get butt hurt about it. You want to talk about the offense we will. But don't be a dumb ### about it, if that's possible.

With all due respect...how about dropping the whole thing and moving on to another subject? There's nothing more to be gained with what's been going on. "Life is Good" and too short to be angry over people having different opinions than your own. (IMHO) Peace.

Let's face it Morris didn't forget how to coach overnight. With a patchwork offensive line and players that left throughout the last few years, players like Sammy Watkins, Nuk, Ellington and not to mention Clemson's and the ACC's leading passers of all time in TAHj Boyd I think we all could have agreed there was going to be a few steps back this year. You don't lose players like that and still look like a good coach plain and simple.
As for play calling I think it is more experimental than anything. Yes sometimes it's too conservative as it showed yesterday but guess what, we were smart with the football and didn't hurt ourselves with turnovers.
The point is simple. We all know these problems exist on offense, and all of us can pick different things they could do differently throughout a game but it's stuff we can't control. You still have to be supportive of the team.

to see problems with who we have right now. We have a lot of injuries and loses of players this season. This LIMITS play calling. I think we did well to get the win yesterday with who we have. They went up against BC's top 10 D and came away with TD's and a FG. We got what we needed. When Watson returns we will have another weapon. Out O-line has not been good. Only a player like DW can overcome a crappy line like we have. Now, we looked a little better as the game wore on yesterday so I hope against a non top 10 D we really look pretty good.
When we solve our O-line problems and get DW under center this O will roll.

knows less than Chad Morris, who's seen these players day-in and day-out since they've been in school, knows exactly what their strengths and weaknesses are and has to tailor each offensive game plan to his team AND the opposing defenses??? How dare you!!....:~)

oline coach. Luckily, we have an extremely talented QB in Watson that can overcome a bad line. But at some point you have to take a look at coaching. Sure the oline has had some injuries, but so have other positions, and at those positions the play has been solid. This is Robbie Caldwell's 4th season, and we have not had anything better than a below average line during his tenure. The footwork and fundamentals by our olinemen our just terrible.

Most people agree that Chad Morris looks a lot smarter when guys like Sammy Watkins are catching and guys like Deshaun Watson are throwing.
We are looking at the OL equivalent of Watkins and Watson coming in the next class. Let Caldwell have a shot at looking smart too.

I don't post too often, but I have to admit...reading yours posts is similar to visiting the freak show at a two-bit county backwoods circus. You know before you walk in the dirty tent that you're going to see the same old lame crap that you saw last time ( and the time before that ), but yet somehow it is addictive. Not sure if it is out of hope that there will actually be something new and different or if it is because you just can't believe that the same pathetic wretches still exist. Either way, why I continue to lay down my 25 cents is still somewhat of a mystery to me.

admit that there have been mistakes in play calling, and that there needs to be improvement throughout our team.
That's because most people are aware that the moment we believe we are perfect, then surely the walls will begin to crumble...which is true in most all endeavors.
You usually make pretty good posts, supportive of the team and staff, and no one doubts your loyalty. But I learned a long time ago that success in conversation generally derives from the manner in which the conversation is presented. That's why I believe in a live and let live approach and try to refrain from overt combativeness. Why? Because most of our thoughts are opinions, and every person is entitled to his.
The fact that others disagree with your thoughts doesn't make them orange pumpers, just as your opinions don't necessarily make you a pessimist. Although we have our share of lurkers and posers, most TNetters are dedicated, loyal Clemson folks, just like you, and want what's best for our programs.
Lastly, I suppose I should call myself an Orange Pumper, for I'll take a win any way we can get it. That's because like many others I've suffered plenty of bad...and I mean, really bad losses over the past 50 years. Thus, I revel in the wins.

that's getting negative reactions. You call people ignorant but here you are making thread after thread just because people who disagreed with you told you that you were overreacting and like a child with self assurance issues you throw a tantrum and call people ignorant and pumpers because they don't b!tch all day everyday until the Monday after a win like you and somehow you have the notion that because of your b!tching and complaining that you are a better fan and I'm not even going to bother to comment on that. Yes, the play calling has been questionable at times but it has not been as bad as you've made it out to be. I don't think there is a limit to the number of posts someone can make on Tnet. I'm also pretty sure there isn't a rule that says the content of the posts must only be in agreement with the masses. If folks don't like the content of the posts, they can always ignore them.

Of course we are all free to ignore any posts that we don't want to read or that we disagree with. However, while I can't be certain of anyone else's intentions, I don't think that Hillbilly was complaining about having to read posts that he doesn't agree with as much as he was offering an explanation to ClemsonSCTiger as to why he has received so much flak for criticizing Chad Morris.

has digressed. We have had first round WR, A big, strong QB with ability to run, and Ellington and McDowell. We Currently don't have that. Chad just didn't go stupid overnight.

If you have a solution why not join the coaching ranks and try to make a difference? You sound like you know what you are talking about and not giving the coaching ranks you wisdom and knowledge is a disgrace to couch potatoes everywhere..if you are not a part of the solution then you are the problem..dont talk about do something about it!!! at once!!
