I just realized something that is pretty hard to believe.

I think every quarterback that has transferred from Clemson since Dabo has been head coach has become a starter except one.

Simmons was the starter at the Citadel.

Cooper was the starter at Jacksonville State.

The Chad started some games at Mississippi.

Brice started at Duke and probably will at App State.

Johnson is the starter for now at Northwestern.

Kelly Bryant started at Missouri.

The only exception is the kid from Florida and I cannot remember his name but he was a really good kid, but Unlike the other guys listed above, he was buried on the depth chart. He was never the clear backup nor starter or in competition for the starting position.

I can’t believe I can’t remember his name, but he was dealing with health issues and injuries.

Great kid, really good athlete, set all the Florida class 5A records, but he was undersized and in a QB room that was simply loaded with talent!

Has anyone heard anything about him since he transferred?

He’s now 25 and graduated from Clemson.

Yes! Thank you guys. For some reason I just couldn’t remember his name.

It looks like he graduated and intended to transfer after he dealt with his health issues, but it appears he never did go to school anywhere else.
