I have re-watch the SCar and Wake Forest game from 2022 in the past week.

Both of these football games were
re-broadcasted on ACC Network I'm the past week. In both of these contests, I heard Adam Randall's name mentioned, and called out 3 times by announcers. All 3 of these were dropped passes, I kid you not. Not trying to throw a player under the bus, but didn't Dabo say before the 2022 season, that Randall was going to be all world, and the next great thing? To be honest, ive never seen him catch 1 pass! I hope he has a great year this season, but I have not seen the raw talent Dabo mentioned about him. Has anyone else noticed or seen this? I truly hope he can contribute this season, and lives up to potential!

that you go back and read his pre-Clemson bio. Here are just a few of the high lights: National top-125 player. A finalist for Mr. Football in South Carolina. Ranked as a 5-star player and No. 79 player in the nation by PrepStar. Ranked 102 in the nation by 247Sports, which also rated him as the 17th-best wide receiver and fourth-best player in South Carolina. Ranked No. 114 overall by ESPN including rating him as the 15th-best wide receiver and fifth-best player in South Carolina. Rated No. 172 by Rivals.com, 26th among receivers and fourth-best in South Carolina. Selected to the Under Armour All-American team. Shrine Bowl selection for South Carolina. To say the kid has a wealth of talent and potential would be a gross understatement.
As for last year, he had 10 catches for 128 yards in 290 offensive snaps over 12 games (one start) after an injury in spring practice limited him for 2022.

…and that is where it has all broken down for Randall.
Sammy PRODUCED IMMEDIATELY when he was on the field his freshman year.
Dabo said before Sammy came in that “help was on the way”, and boy, was he right.
The expectations on Randall appear to be too high at the moment.

Think Randall will be fine this year. I am much more anxious about our qb and how well he can distribute the ball - and secondarily to see how our DC has grown and improved in year 2.

Did you forget that Randall couldn’t get any reps in until the start of the season in practice due to a torn ACL injury? So he wasn’t able to build continuity with DJ and wasn’t even able to catch passes from anyone. I fully believe he was on fire before the injury. Now that he’s been able to work with Cade all summer we are hoping we will get to see the Randall we heard about. Time will tell.

Unsure if in either of those games(probably not since we did it so rarely), but it seemed like most of the very few times we lofted deep to him he drew pass interference calls.
