Even for us hackers!!!

Maybe he’ll miss the Cut and get to sneak out to his home in Dubai!!!

There is a Cut this year:

“The Arnold Palmer Invitational is one of three Signature Events that has implemented a new cut rule for 2024: The top 50 players and ties after the second round, plus any additional players within 10 strokes of the lead, will make the 36-hole cut.“

Sadly, I’ve seen that on my scorecard a few times!
Bad thing is, he is having an absolutely terrible day - and he will still beat my best round ever!

and the 6th hole is one of the most recognizable and difficult holes on the course. No 3 on the other side of that lake is just as difficult albeit a bit shorter. No. 6 is a par 5 that measures 555+ yards from the Palmer tees. If you get too aggressive off the tee, a snowman (8) or worse is a distinct possibility. I played it very conservatively and never touched the lumber, but instead played three iron shots from tee to green trying to keep everything right (I play a natural fade). I was just short of the green in three but still made bogey. The green is really deep and I three putted it.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
