It is a scary list. We are losing or could lose allot on defense. I think Mickens comes back as he might be able to play himself into a higher round draft pick. He is a good player.

Great list! With absolutely NO insider information:
Trotter goes because the last several games have helped reestablish his draft worth significantly.
Same for Wiggins.
Carter stays to do what Trotter is doing now.
I'd like see Mickens return for that "something to prove" year, but a lot of young talent behind him might make that difficult.
Mukuba will get drafted, maybe in a similar position as Mario Goodrich.
Helms could transfer, but might stay because of the culture. Helms saw Chace Brice leave for the "greener pastures".

What is up with the quotes around greener pastures?
Brice was never going to be a contributor at Clemson and was able to become a full time starter at App / Duke.
I would rather play football than ride the bench.

I'm so glad to be a fan of a team like Clemson and every year these list are stocked with blue bloods.
Id like to see a list of our blue bloods returning! Which is more impressive than going. Plus guys that are coming in ranked in Clemsons top 20 all time highest recruits #10 sammy brown (this guy is different world), #18 wesco wr 6'3" (freak), eziomume rb 6'1" 210lbs runs 100m 10.8 seconds! And plenty more like kisayi DE at 6'7" 240lbs (dude can fly and tackle a back 3 yards away!).
Just some good stuff going on and thats just the intro.
That us something though with bringing in 2 recruits in 1 cycle that place respectively in Clemsons all time top 18 recruits.
Beat usuck then gator beat tn and life is grand!

I think out of Trotter Jr. and Carter that Trotter has had a much better year.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Carter comes back another season to solidify a high draft pick. It should be easier to keep our best players now since they are already making piles of money 🤷♂️

Ugh Oh.......you know what that will mean. Ignore the Portal and add some DHS players. Gonna be interesting to watch and see if Dabo is, in fact, learning and growing from the barrage of negativity thrown at him, or will he continue on the same path? Should be fun!

Defense will look a lot different next season but with the guys coming in the talent will still be there to be very good. Offense should have a lot more continuity although losing Shipley would have an impact.
