Even if that happens, I hope for everyone's sake, and especially the AJC, that RN doesn't commit again to CLEMSON anytime soon. That seems to just create insanity for a lot of adults that should know better. Some of these adults actually have real jobs, and still act like fools.

would hope not. Many believe we used one of our very limited schollies on DK only to gain RN's commitment. If that is true, I would be very disappointed if Dabo threw him another bone. If this saga has taught us one thing, I would hope it's that scholarships should be offered only to players/students who can make your team better. That is not to say they have to be able to compete immediately, but that they have to have the skills/physical attributes to develop into starters.

Must say a lot About what the coaches think of RN. No doubt this kid would be able to contribute right away. I think that Carter and Kamara could contribute at one point, but not near as early.

If the staff truly believes in Carter, then by all means, offer him. It would be naive to think that would seal the deal with RN, though. My question for Dabo would be, if RN were not even on the radar, would you be offering Carter? If not, don't.

I don't think offering the entire Grayson team would make a difference.
Truly feel for that young man.
Hope he opts for Clemson in the end... but wish him the best in any case.

He's on campus today. Kamara is supposed to be, too. Of course, when it comes to Kamara, he's going to do whatever his daddy does.

touch. It astounds me that she seemed to be totally surprised that RN had committed. How in the world could that come as news to her when she came to the US? So, I could see RN having freedom to do as he chooses while she's out of the country.
Nevertheless, she has drawn a line in the sand. I think you're right in the long run. RN won't cross the line to sign with Clemson. Seems like she took a rather arbitrary stand based on false impressions and she's not the kind of person who can admit being wrong. For RN to sign with us, it would likely mean severing ties to his mama.

LOL ok. Not saying Dabo can't get it done because he had already gotten it done. Even the best recruiters can't win over a soul that does not want to be won over.(RN's mom) RN will be playing for Nick Saban.
