I have a dvd question

I do photography on the side mainly youth sports football basketball little league baseball i am wanting to make a slideshow with pictures and music for the parents so they will have a keepsake of their kids for a lifetime, But does anyone know what kind of blank dvd is needed to do this? Thanks in advance.

Then just about any DVD-R should work.

BTW, I've used this program to make a DVD photo slideshow. Worked well in a pinch. http://www.arcsoft.com/dvd-slideshow/

Theres's much better software (and deeper and more expensive) but it worked well.
