but I am convinced we are going to see Woods at DE a lot this year.
Thomas, Orhoro, Davis, Woods - now that's a scary DL with a like Paige coming in at DT too.

A lot of people don't know this but Paige played with an injured shoulder last year. He still flashed when he was on the field. If his injury is behind him don't be surprised if he outperforms Orhoro.

Not really a problem, it’s just having great depth on the DL. I think both will see lots of action.

But isn't it awesome that we have the talented depth to keep a fresh guy in to punish our opponent's offense throughout the entire game. It makes it tough for a tired offense to score enough points to win a game against us!!!

I have been hoping Mascoll would break through.
Also Dabo tells you alot if you listen and he said Zaire Patterson could be as good as any he has had if he decides to put in the work.
Lets hope his lightbulb flicks ON

I think one of the big mistakes Goodwin made last year was playing Bresee as a 3-tech instead of end. So I hope you're right about Woods.......but based upon Goodwin's track record, I wouldn't bet on it.

I’ve been saying the same thing. Or maybe Ruke getting some time at DE. I’ll bet we see one of them do this a la CW42. They may just become interchangeable.

Years ago when Tom Landry was HC of Dallas there was a game where the DE was hurt and they were facing a tough offense
All the talking heads were ranting about what the Dallas defense would do and that the flex would not work etc.
The game came on and the Dallas Defense came out is a five man DL and won the game
They put the healthy DE on weak side and added a DT on Strong side and dismantled that offense!
Could that work for us this year
We have a ton of speed from LB back to DBs
Just a memory thought…..
