'Clemson' broadcast crew seem to be overly joyed about the opposing teams progress? I get not being a total homer, but it seems 'our' crews seem to be non-homer. Give me a Jim Phillips kinda guy or gal in the booth.

I believe it's been almost 10 years now since he took over from Yannity. Seems like the Georgia game in 2014 was his first football call. Seemed to get as excited when UGA scored as when Clemson did.You could always tell if Clemson was winning or losing from the tone of Jim Phillips voice without knowing the score.

First time in years that I actually had to listen on the radio. I’ve heard everyone talk about had bad Munson is, but I thought he actually did a good job. That said, the broadcast as a whole stunk. Tim Bourrett was constantly talking over the play-by-play with some useless stat and Merriweather contributed nothing. Then at halftime you have Will Swinney with his version of coach speak.

I listened for the first time in years last Saturday to the end and I was shocked at how quickly the play by play team signed off. It was like "bye" after the last second ticked off. Phillips and crew used to interview coaches, game recap, stats, etc after the game. I guess the 5th quarter show host handles that now?

Gets way too excited when the other team does something well. I’m always initially confused when listening on the radio.
