Poured out some Banks Lager (no Colt 45 around) at Sam Lord's for you.



Wyndam Sam Lord's is the new 422 room resort we stayed at. It just opened so bookings are just starting to get busy. These are 2 of the 6 buildings on property.





There's a restaurant now directly across that will have a castle view that will open in January 2024. Resort is pretty nice. 10/10, wood wreck or mend.

Hey, thanks! Have they rebuilt the original castle? It burned a while back.

Hence the RIP. Looks boarded up in the Pic. We went in 1980something. Remember going in the castle to check in.

Oh, there's a beach nearby with some coral just offshore. Don't climb on it. It is slippery and you will bust your @zz and get a concussion.

Exterior has a temporary construction wall around it.

Not sure anyone will be able to go in ever again since the fire.

inside the castle, which was the hotel lobby.

Attached is a pic of the castle when we visited, and a picture of the rocks you should not try and walk on, unless you like concussions.
