Sorry dude, but classes are important, especially if you're the 3rd string QB. Even some great college players have no NFL career or have a very short one. Seems like Urban Meyer has brought that SEC academics attitude to Ohio State.

I agree with you on the importance of academics for all students who are enrolled in any university, but I believe that a scary percentage of those playing football at all major schools feel the same way as this Ohio State kid. Although he probably didn't know it at the time, it was somewhat courageous for him to come out and actually admit that he was more interested in football than going to class. That's not Ohio State or SEC specific. That's just life.
