and Head coaches like Franklin and Day who let their "opt out" players wear jerseys, stand on the sidelines and yuck it up with the poor saps that are playing are playing with fire in terms of their culture, if they have any left.
Old school, I know but I hope Dabo never allows this at Clemson.

If you are out, you are out. Turn your back on your team and coach should be done with them.

Payton Wilson of NCSU opted out, was on sideline and told sideline reporter he was on sideline because he's been taught to finish what he starts🤣

Opt outs should not be allowed on sidelines. They should be sold seats and have to pay to travel to bowl. You are not a team member by choosing not to play when you are not injured.

Ed Oliver at Houston was the first I ever saw do it. Somewhere around 2018. Coach let him show up in jersey and I remembered being p*ssed watching him on the sideline
