The demos raise taxes on the middle class, force businesses to lay off Americans, are Anti-Business, favor socialism, reduce NASA to a mere image of itself, reduce military when at least 3 countries have targets on the west and Israel.

If Republicans loved America....

Dec 28, 2012, 10:20 AM

they would work to eliminate as many government offices and functions as possible under the confines of the Constitution, eliminate taxes, and reduce the military budget to about 1% of what it currently is.

Poppycock.

Dec 28, 2012, 2:11 PM

It would be hard to guess which party loves America more than the other but I'd venture to say that since both parties are doing their best to destroy America at least the Dems are honest about it. They'll tell you the sacrifice is worth it all.

Both parties are now full of progressive bullchit and either or both driving this thing will lead to the same conclusion.

Re: i feel like the Republicans love America more

Sorry, I think too many of the current Republicans like the Republican party more than the country, and would rather see a nationwide disaster of the economy than work with the Democrats to fix it. And I think the Democrats are more concerned with keeping entitlements than wanting to make the hard choices necessary. But if I had to pick I would say the Republicans have more blame on this thing with their failure to compromise, welfare to the rich tax cuts and a major underestimation of the cost in lives, time and money of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.PS According to the Congressional Budget Office the Bush tax cuts cost the American budget 2.1 trillion from 2001 to 2008 which is double the cost of Obamacare for 8 years and to the benefit of far fewer people and the ones who needed help the least.
