Darden got so far behind so fast I doubt anybody else was even warm yet. I think that’s why Bakich was wasting time after the play at the plate.

Yeah, but it's different if it's a midweek game against Presbyterian than a top 5 duke team. You've got to treat every inning like a 1-1 game.

This is a good point, but he probably felt comfortable even with 2 or 3 runs. 4 and no outs is different. Feel like he was trying to save arms for tomorrow. Which wouldn’t have mattered if we loss.

We won amidst the bad pitch management. Win or lose it was not good decision making. It’s baseball though. Sometimes you get away with mistakes, and sometimes you have to pay for them. This time we got away with one

How’d this work out for the Tigers today? Yahoooooo! Hitting is much improved vs last season. Bullpen is much improved vs last season. Faced good pitching last night. Maybe dukes pitching exposed?
