I believe most of us want the Clemson Guys on the coaching staff to succeed,

but perhaps an experienced WR Coach (looking your way, Jeff Scott) as well as Offensive Line coach (nobody comes immediately to mind) might help what has been perceived as a QB problem. If the QB has more trust in the receivers and is not running for his life, he does not have to overthink the playcalling or feel like he has to do it all himself. RBs hanging on to the ball would also make the situation a lot better.
If you go and get an OC like Riley, let him bring some guys that fit his system.

This makes perfect sense which is why Dabo never will do it. Hubris is alive and well in the football building.

Riley needs to be able to bring in all the guys he wants to work with, that’s a given. It’s also a given that Dabo will never let him do that. This is over guys, we are watching Clemson implode and we can’t do a thing but gripe about it. Proud to be a 1.5%er that at least can say we tried to tell you, not that it will make us feel any better really. We just don’t have to feel responsible for going along with this madness

i thought it was odd that we brought in Riley and forced him to take on an offensive staff vs choosing his own - especially when there were clear issues downstream of streeter

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Jeff Scott (WR) and Brad Scott (OL) at practice this week.

I don’t want Jeff back.

I want all outside hires.

Jeff moved back to Clemson.... he's coming back and how he did in coaching and recruiting, I'd be very happy to have him.

Brad would be a stop-gap until the end of the season. Brad coached FSU's O line during their glory years... he recruited Charlie Ward and Deion Sanders. Brad is old, but he would come out of retirement to finish the season and help out Dabo and Jeff.

I see Jeff as the heir apparent to the throne after Dabo retires. Brad would be helping Jeff out.

You want Brad Scott coaching our offensive line and Jeff Scott to be the head coach after Dabo is gone?

You must really want us to suck.

Until the end of the season when an outside hire for the O line... yes.

I love Brad Scott.... and I believe he was the second greatest hire Clemson made in 1999 after Dabo and almost as important to our rise to greatness.

Hartline at OSU and Jeff Scott the 2 best Wr coaches out there, you’re fooling yourself if you wouldn’t take him back. But we have way more problems than that.

I don’t think more “yes men” helps this coaching staff.

Outside hires and fresh voices. Total reset. That’s what we need.

Not really. People are making too much out of the assistants to avoid having to deal with the possibility that we nay not be as attractive to recruits as we once were. Could different assistants help? Maybe. Is the fundamental problem? No.

Also, Jeff Scott isn't the answer.
